About NEEPCO
North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO) is an Indian electricity utility company, a public sector enterprise owned by the Maharatna PSU National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC Ltd). Incorporated in 1976 to plan, investigate, design, construct, generate, operate & maintain power stations in the North Eastern Region of India under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, NEEPCO is conferred with the Schedule A- Miniratna Category-I CPSE status and operates 8 hydro, 3 thermal and 1 solar power stations with a combined installed capacity of 1757 MW. Presently NEEPCO is implementing Kameng Hydro Project (600 MW) in the N.E. Region, Unit- 1&2 (2×150 = 300 MW) of Kameng HPS has been commissioned in FY 2019-20, and the remaining 300 MW is scheduled for commissioning within the financial year 2020-21.

Positions: Diploma/ Graduate Apprentices
Total Vacancies: 26 Posts
- Graduate Apprentices: 9 Posts
- Technician Apprentices: 17 Posts
Stipend: Rs. 18,000/- for Graduate Apprentices, Rs. 15,000/- for Technician Apprentices

Eligibility Criteria:
For Graduate Apprentices:
Candidates should complete BE/ B.Tech in Mechanical/ Computer Science and Information Technology/ Communication/ Electrical Engineering from a recognized university
For Diploma Apprentices:
Candidates should complete a Diploma in Mechanical/ Computer Science and Information Technology/ Communication/ Electrical Engineering from a recognized university
Age: Candidates age must be in between 18 to 28 years as on 30-06-2020. Age is relaxable for reserved category candidates.
Selection Process:
Selection will be based on the merit obtained by the candidates in the qualifying examination.
