POSITION: ENGINEER/ SUPERVISORS/ FOREMEN – SLIPFORM
JOB DESCRIPTION :
Job Summary:
Perform tasks involving physical labor at vertical slip form construction projects. Construct, fabricate, assemble and disassemble concrete form work of fixtures of metal, wood and other accessories. Working foreman oversees carpenter crew ensure work is done safely, according to the design drawings, and in a timely fashion.
Essential Duties:
- Ability to study and analyze the drawings
- Follow Daily Procedures and Protocols as set forth in job orientations and training and Safety Handbooks. Properly follow OSHA safety procedures. Bring problems to the attention of the Superintendent or Safety Facilitator.
- Building structures required to the specifications of the job. Platforms, stairs, concrete forms, framework, temporary frame shelters, etc.
- Examine drawings, sketches, building plans and form drawings to determine material required and dimensions of structure or fixture to be fabricated.
- Use carpentry hand tools such as levels, squares, plumb bobs, hammers, hand and power saws, adjustable wrenches, drill motors, reciprocating saws, pry bars, etc. Supply of non-electric/pneumatic hand tools is required.
- Prepare layout of form or fixture to be fabricated using grades and layout lines. Construct forms, chutes and align form panels for pouring concrete and grout.
- Install temporary handrails, stairs and ladders. Erect and dismantle scaffolding.
- Ability to tie rebar.
DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE
- B.Tech/B.E. (Civil) with min 5 years of experience with slipform experience only.
Should have exp in buildings / commercial / IT Parks / Residential projects.
Should have sound knowledge of Slipform activities right from the initial stage. - Supervisor/ Foreman: Min 5 years f experience with slipform experience only.
Should have exp in buildings / commercial / IT Parks / Residential projects.
Should have sound knowledge of Slipform activities right from the initial stage.
NOTE: Experience without slipform will not be entertained for the interview.
