About RVNL
Rail Vikas Nigam Limited {रेल विकास निगम लिमिटेड} is an organization associated with Indian Railways whose task is to build engineering works required by Indian Railways.
To bridge the infrastructure deficit on Indian Railways, the then Prime Minister, Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee announced National Rail Vikas Yojana (NRVY) on 15th August 2002 in his address from the Red Fort. NRVY was formally launched by Hon’ble PM on 26th December 2002. To implement NRVY, RVNL was incorporated as an 100% owned PSU of Ministry of Railways (MoR) on 24-1-2003 with the twin objectives of raising extra-budgetary resources and implementation of projects relating to creation and augmentation of capacity of rail infrastructure on a fast track basis. RVNL became fully functional by March 2005.

Position: Deputy General Manager/ Senior Deputy General Manager
Total Vacancies: 5
Qualification: B.Tech/B.E, Any Graduate, Any Post Graduate
Job Location: Guwahati, Bhopal, Nagpur
Educational Qualification:
Senior Deputy General Manager – Candidates must have –
- Posts in analogous grade (CDA/IDA) OR
- Posts in Sr. Scale (Level-11) post OR
- Posts in Gr. ‘B’ (Level-10) & having 10 years of service in Group ‘B’ OR
- Posts carrying grade Rs.29100-54500/-(IDA) for four years
Deputy General Manager – Candidates must have –
- Posts in analogous grade (CDA/IDA) OR
- Posts in Level-10/Level-9 (CDA) taken with four years service in Group ‘B’ OR
- Posts carrying grade Rs.24900-50500/-(IDA) for four years
Experience: Preference will be given to the candidates having construction experience in railways
Age limit: (As on 15th February 2019): Below 56 Years
Salary details:
- Senior Deputy General Manager – Rs. 29,100 – 54,500/- (Per Month)
- Deputy General Manager – Rs. 24,900 – 50,500/- (Per Month)
