About KIOCL

KIOCL Limited (Formerly known as Kudremukh Iron Ore Company Limited), a Flagship Company under the Ministry of Steel, Govt. of India was formed on 2 April 1976 for mining and beneficiation of low-grade iron ore at Kudremukh, Karnataka, India.

KIOCL has been a pioneer with over four decades of experience in operating Iron Ore Mining, Beneficiation, and Iron–Oxide Pelletisation in the Country.  KIOCL is having facilities to operate a 3.5 MTPA Iron-oxide Pellet Plant, Blast Furnace Unit to manufacture 2.16 lakh tonnes per annum Pig iron at Mangaluru, Karnataka.

Detailed Eligibility:

Educational Qualification:

Surveyors

• BE/BTech in Civil Engineering or Mining Engineering or equivalent degree from a University/Institute/ Board approved or recognized by Government of India/ UGC/ AICTE/ appropriate Statutory Authority with minimum 60% marks. with minimum 03years’ Post Qualification experience or
• Diploma in Civil Engineering / Mining & Mine Surveying or equivalent degree from a University/Institute/ Board approved or recognized by Government of India/ UGC/ AICTE/ appropriate Statutory Authority with minimum 60% marks. with min 05years’ Post Qualification experience. Should have at least 03/05 years of post-qualification experience

Asst. Surveyor:

• BE/BTech in Civil Engineering or Mining Engineering or equivalent degree from a University/Institute/ Board approved or recognized by Government of India/ UGC/ AICTE/ appropriate Statutory Authority with minimum 60% marks. with min 02years’ Post Qualification experience or
• Diploma in Civil Engineering / Mining & Mine Surveying or equivalent degree from a University/Institute/ Board approved or recognized by Government of India/ UGC/ AICTE/ appropriate Statutory Authority with minimum 60% marks. with min 04years’ Post Qualification experience or
• NON-TECHNICAL GRADUATION from a University/Institute/ Board approved or recognized by Government of India/ UGC/ AICTE/ appropriate Statutory Authority with minimum 60% marks. with min 07years’ Post Qualification experience. Should have at least 02/04/07 years of post-qualification experience

Age Limit :

• For General – 30 years

Relaxations in upper age limit:

• 5 years for SC/ST
• 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)
• Persons with Disabilities – 5 years for General, 8 years for OBC and 10 years for SC/ST.

Salary:

• Surveyor – Rs.50,000/-
• Asst. Surveyor – Rs.40,000/-
